Bridge CPA is a group of partners that left their prior firm to focus on providing services for small and medium sized businesses. As firms continue to grow through mergers and acquisitions, focus tends to drift to larger clients and increased client fees. Our focus at Bridge CPA is to provide quality, partner driven services, to each of our clients regardless of size, at an affordable rate.

We provide assurance, tax and business advisory services to small and medium sized businesses across many different industries. Collectively, we have over 50 years of experience servicing small to midsize businesses.

Our goal is to become your trusted partner and guide you each step of the way. We are here to connect you to financial success.

Alex Krog

Alex has been in public accounting since 2011 and has been proficient in providing mainly attest services for clients in the distribution, manufacturing, technology, contracting, and professional services industries. Additionally, he has worked on over 100 different Employee Benefit Plan audits during his career, providing client services and education.

Alex focuses on a very client-centric approach (because most people don’t like auditors) and tries to make the audit process as painless as possible for his clients because they have their normal day-to-day tasks that they need to perform, too. He takes great pride in running efficient engagements, serving his clients with the highest quality work and good rapport.

Alex became a "girl dad" in July 2020, and in June 2022, he and his wife were equally pleased to welcome a son to their family. Alex is one of the worst golfers you’ve ever met and an avid Chicago sports fan having seen the Cubs win the NL Pennant and the World Series in person in 2016. Since 2020, Alex has also hosted the Fantasy Football Sackos podcast during the NFL season.

Outside of the office James enjoys spending time with his wife and son, attempting various D-I-Y projects around the house, kayaking, riding four-wheelers, and watching his favorite sport teams never meet expectations.
